(Jay) Digvijay Wadekar

About me:

I'm a final year PhD student at the center for cosmology and particle physics (CCPP) at New York University (NYU). I am interested in a broad range of topics spanning cosmology, astroparticle physics and machine learning.

I've worked on extracting cosmological information from galaxy surveys and on dark matter phenomenology using dwarf galaxies at NYU. Recently, my interest has been piqued by neural networks and I've used them to emulate expensive cosmological hydrodyanic simulations with collaborators at (CCA).

I grew up in Nanded, India and did my bachelors in Engineering Physics at IIT Bombay. If you don't find me at my office, I may be backpacking or practicing latin and ballroom dancing.
